Grove, Aspen's premier development company, is excited to announce that they now offer hosting and implementation services for Aspen Discovery and Aspen LiDA.
Grove’s hosting and support packages are designed to give libraries choices around the services that best meet their needs. Grove offers several options for hosting, from full implementation and support packages with server management and development included to packages for libraries and consortia that want to host their own Aspen and just need some backup and advanced support. Libraries can also share unused support and development hours with the community to help fund new features for Aspen.
“Aspen has always been about choice,” said Jordan Fields, Grove Co-Founder. “With Grove’s support and hosting, libraries will be able to decide for themselves how they are best supported in using Aspen, and they’ll even have options to support the broader Aspen community to really take full advantage of Aspen’s open source roots.”
Grove staff have been providing stable, reliable hosting for Aspen and its predecessors for 15 years. With a combined 25+ years of experience working with libraries on Aspen, Grove staff understands how to optimize Aspen’s extensive configuration to ensure Aspen is performant and customized for each library.
Mark Noble, Aspen Architect and Grove Co-Founder, said, “We’re very excited to add Aspen Hosting to our list of services. Hosting, support, and development are all complimentary services for us and allow us to best leverage the experience we have gained over the past decade-plus of serving libraries with Aspen Discovery and Aspen LiDA.”
Grove’s full suite of services includes implementations, support, hosting, and custom development for both production and test instances of Aspen Discovery and Aspen LiDA.
